A custom Shopify theme for a made-to-order 3D printing studio, built around a real product-photo catalogue and a file-upload custom-order flow.
The problem
Off-the-shelf Shopify themes couldn't handle the studio's core offer: customers uploading their own reference photo or idea for a made-to-order print, alongside a browsable catalogue of existing designs.
The solution
Built a custom order flow using a hidden Shopify product plus multipart file upload so customers attach reference files directly at checkout, paired with a bright, high-energy theme built around the studio's real product photography — signature pieces displayed full-bleed instead of hidden in generic grid tiles.
The result
A storefront that actually supports the studio's business model (assessed jobs + off-the-shelf pieces) instead of forcing it into a generic product-grid theme, packaged and ready to install as a standard Shopify theme file.
